Lately, I’ve found myself in a place I’ve heard so many men talk about, and every creative I truly respect has admitted to reaching at some point too. It’s a phase I’ve come to call the shedding and the re-knowing of self.

It’s the moment where everything gets questioned: what I think I know, who I am, who I’m becoming, and why I create. I’m standing right at the intersection of boy 2 man and as daunting as that sounds, it’s also strangely thrilling. This is the kind of  transition that doesn’t just shape the person you are, it shapes the work you make.

My life spills into the art I create, and the art reflects the life back to me.
